The PR-764 adds a 5th comfort zone: the Twilight Tilt system, which tilts the entire seat cradle to achieve Trendelenburg positioning (feet above head level) in addition to zero gravity. The PR-750 achieves zero gravity (feet at heart level) but not Trendelenburg. If Trendelenburg is clinically important, the PR-764 is the correct choice. The 21.5" wall clearance is also the lowest available in any Golden infinite-position lift chair, allowing the PR-750 to be placed close to a wall without restricting the full recline range. For smaller rooms, apartments, or assisted living units, the slim frame is often the deciding factor.

MaxiComfort uses a four-way active seat motion combined with independent back and footrest control. In zero gravity, the seat and footrest position so the legs are elevated to approximately heart level and the back reclines to distribute the user's weight evenly across the chair surface — eliminating the concentrated pressure at the seat that occurs during standard upright sitting. Spinal compression decreases, lower extremity circulation improves as blood returns more easily from the legs, and the overall sensation is one of reduced body weight and pressure. The PR-750 achieves this without the Twilight cradle-tilt mechanism — MaxiComfort zero gravity is a real therapeutic position, just not as extreme as Twilight's full tilt.
