Golden Relaxer PR-766 MaxiComfort Lift Chair | Waterfall Back

Most lift chair backs are fixed — the cushioning is built into the frame and can't be adjusted independently. The PR-766's waterfall back has three separate back pillows stacked vertically, each of which can be moved and repositioned by the user to customize upper, mid, and lower back support independently. If you tend to feel pressure in a specific part of your back, or if the standard back angle doesn't suit your spine, this lets you correct that without changing the chair's recline position. It is the defining comfort feature of the Relaxer series and is not found on the Cloud PR-510, PR-515, or PR-527.

No — the PR-766 uses MaxiComfort only, which is a 2-zone system (back and seat/footrest move independently). Twilight — the whole-chair base tilt — is not available on the Relaxer series. If Twilight is important to your purchase, the PR-527 or PR-515 are the correct step up. The PR-766's advantages over those models are the waterfall back, three distinct sizes, and the plush comfort-focused design at a lower price point.

Not as standard. The base PR-766 uses the 2-zone MaxiComfort system — back and seat/footrest. PowerPillow (power headrest) and power lumbar are available as optional upgrades and must be specified at time of order. AutoDrive 3.0 is the updated version of Golden's programmable hand control. It has four programmable memory buttons (compared to two on older versions), pre-set positions for TV, Sit, Sleep, and Zero Gravity, and a USB charging port. A notable design update: the remote cord routes through the inside of the chair arm and can exit from either side — so left-handed users or users who approach the chair from a specific direction can route the cord to their preferred side without it being a nuisance.
