People who have difficulty lifting their legs have difficulty getting in and out of bed. People with compartment syndrome, cellulitis, or multiple sclerosis can use the Leglifter at their leisure to have more freedom during their bedtime routine. The hand control device mechanically raises, lifts, and transfers legs into the bed.

It uses an Airflo compressor system with hand control to raise the leg lifter at a speed that best suits the user. Using the Mangar Leglifter is also beneficial to the caregiver since they are at risk of back injury performing manual assistance.
