The key difference is positioning: the PR-449 has the full 5-zone MaxiComfort + Twilight system (including the Twilight whole-chair tilt). The PR-448 uses MaxiComfort only — 2-zone, no Twilight. The convenience package (cup holder, wireless charger, table) is the same on both. If Twilight is important to your purchase, the PR-449 is correct. If you want the same convenience features at a lower price without Twilight, the PR-448 is the right choice.
The DeLuna Series is Golden's style-focused lineup — designed to look more like upscale living room furniture than medical equipment. DeLuna chairs use Sutton faux leather as the standard fabric, feature the open arm storage design with built-in cup holder and wireless charging, and include the removable table as standard. The MaxiComfort Cloud series (PR-510, PR-515, PR-527) uses fabric as standard and has a more traditional lift chair appearance. The positioning technology (MaxiComfort + Twilight) is available on both series. Choose DeLuna if aesthetics and the built-in convenience features matter alongside the positioning.
