Indeelift PPU & PPU-S People Picker Upper Lift

This lift comes in two models to accommodate various patients. The IndeeLift raises patients from the floor to a seated or standing position, helping them regain independence and maintain dignity.

The People Picker Upper Line of Lifts (PPU and PPU-S)
IndeeLift is the “People Picker Upper”! Designed to meet the recommendations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The PPU lifts people from the floor to a normal chair height.
The PPU-S lifts people from the floor up to a standing height. It also has a secondary function that aids a standing person needing a little lift to access sitting onto a high bed or to reach into a tall cabinet or shelf.

PPU Features/Functionality
The PPU will lift a person to its rated capacity of up to 300 lbs (136kg) from the floor to a position seated at the height of a standard chair. With the maximum height of 21 inches (54 cm) with rise-assist handle grips, the PPU allows just about anyone using it to stand with the absolute least expended energy and load on the extremities.

The PPU-S is designed to raise a seated person from the floor, or any level above the floor, to a higher height of 30 inches (76cm) that allows the user to stand directly up or to be transferred as required.

The PPU-S lifts the user to a seated level and then, as the lifting continues, the seat can tilt forward allowing the transfer of the user’s weight to their legs at a comfortable level as dictated by the height of the specific user.

The PPU-S has been designed and tested to work with individuals of any height. For users with less mobility, transferring directly to a wheelchair is accomplished by raising the seat height to about 21” (53 cm), which allows a height difference of 1-2 inches (2.5-5cm) for lift-free transfers from most seated positions or whatever height will allow a gravity-assisted transfer.

Small Footprint and Easy Portability
Both the PPU and PPU-S are portable lifts that are rolled around similar to an average upright vacuum. The small footprint allows them to be positioned in many places other lifts simply cannot go. With a small radius, the PPU and PPU-S can go just about anywhere including most residential and all ADA accessible bathrooms. Whether a fall occurs in the hallway, a bedroom, bathroom or a living room, this appliance can be easily rolled over to the person who has fallen for immediate assistance getting up from the floor.

PPU – Mounting Ramp Seat
The PPU patented design includes a mounting ramp seat that eliminates the need to ever “lift” manually. With no complex cradles or harnesses to configure, the PPU allows fall recovery to be simple and quick. A person who has fallen can be up from the floor to a normal seating position within moments.

PPU-S – Mounting Ramp “Seat-Tilt”
The PPU-S patented design features a mounting ramp seat that eliminates the need to ever lift a person manually and a tracking function that allows the seat to tilt forward as the user is lifted and shifting their weight onto their legs.

A user on the floor either scoots onto the lift using the front ramp or they can tilt up onto the seat. The PPU-S seat plate can either be locked in a stationary position or unlocked to allow the seat plate to rotate forward to allow a user to get to a standing position. Two locking tabs are located at the rear of the seat plate, one on each side of the main vertical column.


Wired Remote
The wire remote has a 5’ (1.5m) retractable cord, allowing the user or a helper to operate the lift. The wired remote has physical, easy-operate button controls that indicate the up and down functionality. The wired remote is stored on the handles with the hanger clip.

Adjustable and/or Removable Rise-Assist Handles
The rise-assist handles have been engineered to provide leverage for the seated party to assist in the process of standing once they are up from the floor. The arms can swing away from the seat when needed. They are also removable to allow for mount assistance or a direct transfer to a wheelchair or other destination.

Rechargeable Battery
Comes standard with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack and charging unit. Charging is accomplished by plugging the charging unit’s AC power cord into a standard AC wall power outlet. A full charge takes about eight hours. The control system will provide a beep tone when operated and batteries need being charged.

Safety Belts
The PPU comes with one safety belt. The PPU-S comes with two safety belts.
