Description

Strongback-24 Flip Back Arm Folding Manual Wheelchair

Unlike standard folding manual wheelchairs, the Strongback wheelchair by Strongback Mobility conforms to and supports the natural and healthy lumbar curve of the spine thus preventing the user from slouching forward and squeezing spinal discs with a tremendous amount of unhealthy pressure - decreasing this pressure results in healthier discs, a stronger back, and long-lasting comfort while seated.

Traditional wheelchairs are uncomfortable to sit in "“ even for short periods of time. The poor posture caused by the lack of lumbar support in the chairs cause discomfort and often pain.

Measure the widest area across the lower extremities if different from the hip width. This may influence seat width or arm style.
  3. Chest Width:
Measure the widest point of the thorax just below the armpit. This measurement may influence system width or back width.
  4. Heel to Knee:
Use this for legrest extensions and seat height.
  5. SRP to Knee (Seat Reference Point to Knee):
This will determine the seat depth.
  6. Elbow to SRP (Elbow to Seat Reference Point):
Measure this width with the arm in a 90-degree angle at the elbow and the shoulder in a neutral position.
  7. Shoulder Height:
This will determine the height and the style of the back panel or the start for a custom back.
  8. Head Height:
