Description

Showerbuddy SB2 TubBuddy

The TubBuddy SB2 is an ergonomic bathing transfer system designed to allow a patient to safely transfer over a bath tub without committing to any costly construction.

This model is also capable of rolling over standard/elongated toilets to be used as a commode. The TubBuddy eliminates unnecessary transfers between toileting and bathing making it comfortable for both patient and caregiver meanwhile reducing costs and contributing to good patient hygiene.

The TubBuddy transfer system is easy to use and can be moved if others use the same bathtub. It prevents multiple transfers and unnecessary equipment because the TubBuddy can be used over most standard and elongated toilets as well as most tubs.

The TubBuddy is easy to use and prevents the need for multiple products and there is no need to modify or renovate your bathroom. The rolling base with chair attached connects to the bridge which is attached to the interior tub base, simply slide the chair across the bridge and lock the chair into place on the interior tub base and then bathing is simple.

    Wheelchair Measurements:

    1. Hip Width:
Use this to figure seat width if it is the widest point.
    2. Widest Point:
Measure the widest area across the lower extremities if different from the hip width. This may influence seat width or arm style.
    3. Chest Width:
Measure the widest point of the thorax just below the armpit. This measurement may influence system width or back width.
    4. Heel to Knee:
Use this for legrest extensions and seat height.
    5. SRP to Knee (Seat Reference Point to Knee):
This will determine the seat depth.
    6. Elbow to SRP (Elbow to Seat Reference Point):
Measure this width with the arm in a 90-degree angle at the elbow and the shoulder in a neutral position.
    7. Shoulder Height:
This will determine the height and the style of the back panel or the start for a custom back.
    8. Head Height:
