Karman's LT-980 Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair is the lightest wheelchair at its price point, combining all the great innovations Karman is known for with a cost-effective, convenience-minded outlook. If you're tired of the standard steel wheelchair but don't want to sacrifice functionality, this is the wheelchair for you.
Weighing only 24 lbs., the chair is easy to store and transport. The chair folds down the middle like a standard wheelchair and the backrest also folds down to make the wheelchair even more compact. The swing-away/detachable footrests feature heel loops for added comfort and safety.
Driving the Karman Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair are 22" x 1.375" spoke rear wheels with high profile, polyurethane tires. 6" x 1" flat-free, polyurethane front casters complete the package to provide reliable, smooth travel. Easy-Grip push rims make it easy for the wheelchair user to propel themselves, and adjustable push-to-lock wheel brakes provide secure stopping power.

Wheelchair Measurements:
- Hip Width:
Use this to figure seat width if it is the widest point. - Widest Point:
Measure the widest area across the lower extremities if different from the hip width. This may influence seat width or arm style. - Chest Width:
Measure the widest point of the thorax just below the armpit. This measurement may influence system width or back width. - Heel to Knee:
Use this for legrest extensions and seat height. - SRP to Knee (Seat Reference Point to Knee):
This will determine the seat depth. - Elbow to SRP (Elbow to Seat Reference Point):
Measure this width with the arm in a 90-degree angle at the elbow and the shoulder in a neutral position. - Shoulder Height:
This will determine the height and the style of the back panel or the start for a custom back. - Head Height:
