Hoyer Stature Professional Patient Lift — 500 lb, True Vertical Lifting, Clip Style Sling, Powered Base & Optional Powered Cradle
True vertical lift. Clip sling precision. 500 lb capacity for even the most demanding transfers. The Hoyer Stature by Joerns Healthcare is a professional-grade passive patient lift that sets itself apart with two key clinical advantages: true vertical lifting and clip-style sling technology. Where conventional floor lifts follow an arc during lifting — swinging the patient forward as the boom rises — the Stature raises the patient in a true vertical path, providing greater stability and comfort throughout the transfer. The clip-style positioning cradle secures the sling without the need for loop attachments, enabling faster, more precise patient positioning. With a 500 lb safe working load and one of the largest effective lifting ranges available, the Stature handles floor pick-up through transfers to high surfaces with confidence. Swan neck style legs get closer to the resident, a powered base eliminates bending to adjust the leg width, and an optional powered positioning cradle keeps the caregiver close to the resident with controls at the handle. EN ISO 10535 compliant. Authorized Hoyer dealer.

Key Features
True Vertical Lifting
Most floor lifts raise the patient in an arc — as the boom rises, the patient swings forward and outward. The Hoyer Stature raises the patient in a true vertical path, straight up from the point of origin. This provides greater patient stability, reduces lateral movement during the lift, and allows the caregiver to maintain closer proximity and control throughout the entire transfer. True vertical lifting is particularly beneficial for residents with limited trunk control, fragile conditions, or anxiety around transfers.
Clip Style Positioning Cradle
The Stature uses a clip-style sling attachment system rather than the loop-over-hook method used by standard spreader bars. Clip-style attachment is faster to connect, easier to position correctly, and provides more precise patient positioning during the transfer. The optional powered 4-point positioning cradle adds the ability to adjust patient positioning during the lift with controls at the handle — keeping the caregiver close to the resident and in full control without repositioning around the lift.
500 lb Safe Working Load
At 500 lbs, the Stature covers the full range of patients in most home and institutional care settings, including bariatric patients. The 500 lb capacity combined with the large effective lifting range makes it capable of handling the most demanding and technical patient handling situations a facility is likely to encounter.
Swan Neck Style Legs & Powered Base
Swan neck curved legs arch over low obstacles — wide bed bases, wheelchair footrests, recliner feet — to get the lift closer to the resident than straight-leg designs can achieve. The powered base allows the caregiver to open and close the legs electronically without bending, twisting, or applying force — a significant ergonomic benefit during repeated transfers or high-frequency use. Legs open to 48.4" internal width for positioning around wide furniture and close to 29.9" for maneuvering through doorways.
Effective Lifting Range & Reach
The Stature's boom is designed to reach further across today's wider care beds, providing a stable, effective lifting position even with the larger mattress platforms common in modern bariatric and institutional beds. Combined with the floor lift capability and 61" maximum attachment height, the Stature covers the full range of transfer situations from floor pick-up to high surface placement in a single device.
Digital Scale Option
An optional digital scale integrates with the Stature for patient monitoring during lifts without compromising the lifting height — the scale does not reduce the maximum attachment point height, preserving the full transfer range.
