The Golden Technologies PR-545 MaxiComfort with Twilight is the newest addition to Golden's Comforter collection — bringing Twilight Technology to the Comforter's extended-arm, wide-sizing design. The PR-545 introduces Golden's exclusive Zero Gravity+ (ZG+) positioning: MaxiComfort's scissor-box seat movement combined with Twilight's 30-degree whole-chair tilt for a cradle position that also supports a natural knee bend — delivering a more complete zero-gravity experience than either technology alone. Pocketed coil spring seat. Three sizes covering 5'4" to 6'8" — one of the tallest ranges in the Golden lineup. 375 lb capacity. Optional heat & massage. Made in the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions
Standard zero gravity raises the footrest and reclines the back until the feet are at or above heart level — reducing spinal pressure and improving circulation. Zero Gravity+ does this AND adds Twilight's whole-chair 30-degree base tilt simultaneously. The key additional benefit is the supported knee bend: when the chair tilts and the seat box rises, the knees maintain a natural bend rather than locking straight. Straight knees during recline can restrict blood flow back to the heart and add stress to the lower spine. ZG+ prevents this, delivering a more complete and therapeutically beneficial zero-gravity position than standard MaxiComfort or Twilight alone.
The PR-535 uses MaxiComfort only — 2-zone system, no Twilight. The PR-545 adds Twilight Technology (Zone 5) bringing ZG+ positioning. Both share the Comforter series extended armrests and seam back design. The PR-535 has more size options (including Junior Petite, Small, and bariatric Extra-Wide) and goes up to 600 lbs in XW configurations. The PR-545 tops out at Tall for 6'8" users at 375 lbs. Choose the PR-535 if you need maximum size range. Choose the PR-545 if you need Twilight ZG+ positioning in the Comforter body style.
Not as standard. The PR-545 uses a 3-zone system — upper body, lower body, and Twilight tilt. Power headrest and power lumbar are not included in the base configuration. If you want Twilight with standard power headrest and lumbar, the PR-515 or PR-527 include both as standard. The PR-545's advantages over those models are the Comforter extended armrests, Tall size availability, and pocketed coil seat in a Twilight chair.
Yes — the Tall size is designed for users 6'5" to 6'8". This makes the PR-545 one of the very few Twilight lift chairs on the market available in a size for very tall users.
