Medline's Excel Extra-Wide is the wheelchair of choice for those who desire an extra wide, heavy-duty chair.

Not only are the desk length arms removable, the armrests are padded and upholstered for comfort and style. The calf pads are also padded and upholstered, and come standard with both the detachable footrests and the detachable elevating legrests. Elevating legrest models feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely in place.

The nuts and bolts of the Excel Extra-Wide are impressive, to say the least. It features sealed bearings in fork housing, rear wheels and front wheels, keeping dirt out and adding durability while being maintenance-free. The mag-style composite wheels are extremely durable and easy to clean, not to mention lightweight and maintenance-free.

The Extra-wide also includes a heavy-duty fork and welded fork stems to minimize wobbling.
This model provides up to a 500 lb. weight capacity and is available in 20" 22", and 24" seat width
